DNR Service Center
In SPOONER,
(715- 635-2101) (formerly known as the District Headquarters) is located
on Hwy 70 just west of the intersection of Hwys. 63 & 70. The goal of
the Service Center is to provide "one stop shopping" for all the
publics needs related to the DNR. Some of the services provided are:

*The
Spooner Ranger Station,
Located just
east of the Service Center is a work station and no longer handles any of
the above functions, however wild land fire prevention & suppression,
private forestry and wildlife personnel still operate out of this
building. Persons may want to call in advance to ensure someone is there
to handle their correspondence. (often all personnel that work there are
out in the field and the office is closed)
MINONG-
(715-466-2022)
is located on Hwy 77 just east of Minong. It houses both the area
Conservation Warden and forestry/ fire control personnel for the area of
the county north of County Hwy F . Services provided are:

Fish and
Game license sales.

Private
forestry assistance.

Conservation
Law enforcement.

Burning
permit issuance.

Forest
fire prevention and suppression.
NOTE: This is
